About Us.
The MODA brand is owned and operated by Stewart Golf Ltd, the British manufacturer of premium golf trolleys, bags and accessories.
MODA was conceived after a chance conversation left Stewart Golf executives looking at the available range of golf products aimed specifically at the discerning lady golfer. They quickly realised that most 'ladies' products were derived from men's products with a few flashes of pink or baby-blue rather than black or red. Soon after, Alexa Stewart (wife of MD Mark Stewart) bemoaned the lack of any kind of fashion and coordination in ladies golf equipment.
Sensing an opportunity, some of the Stewart Golf design team changed its focus temporarily from Computer Aided Design & Engineering to the world of high fashion, taking in several shows and consulting figures within the industry. MODA (the Italian word for 'fashion') was chosen as the brand name and a small collection was produced and launched in 2010, sold from the Stewart Golf website.
Now for the 2011 season, the collection has been dramatically increased to over 70 stylish items. MODA has been given it's own website to showcase all 9 ranges, with up to three different styles within each range. Please take a look around our new home, there is something for everyone here; even those who don't play golf are accommodated.
